Description
Kananga plantations were first established in Jamaica in the 19th century by the British. It is frequently incorporated into rituals of purification and in memorializing departed ancestors The spiritual water has a strong, sweet scent and is made primarily from the ylang ylang flower and with this recipe, a hint of Jasmine with Jasmine petals also. The orange color of the water comes typically comes from its yellowish orange petals of the flowers and 100% essential oils that are also added (ylang ylang, neroli, rose and bergamot). With this recipe, it is from the very aromatic addition of tinctures. The tinctures created are comprised of all natural orris rhizome and storax and sit for minimum 6 months but usually for 1 year and longer before adding to complete the recipe and bottle.
