Both women started their healing journeys as Reiki Masters and have several years experience between them. Sister Goldenrod and Mother Owl met by chance… or so was thought. The purpose for their acquaintance soon became known, and their meeting was universally designated and they have a past…in a past life.

Oh the Sisters of Light, what an incredible team. I entered my journey with these women with very little medicine experience under my belt but enough intuition in my heart to feel a connection.
I arrived at the first of two retreats not knowing what to expect. I arrived to open arms and open hearts and immediately felt at home. Each session was immensely profound and contained in a way that I felt safe to allow the women to do their work. From tears to pain to understanding to acceptance, I surrendered myself to their wisdom and their medicines.
Two retreats and a couple of talking circles later, I am not the same woman I was only 3 short months ago. I have been walking my healing path for 27 years and have made more headway with medicines that I could humanly believe. I was very fortunate to be a part of the inspiring retreat on Manitoulin “Spirit” Island with Sisters of Light. It was a special retreat and it touched me in so many ways….mentally, emotionally and spiritually. What an uplifting experience! I enjoyed every minute of it, savoured the free time….time to quiet our hearts and be at peace.
I enjoyed the sharing in the group….listening to each other and being supportive. The bonding within the group was overwhelming. I enjoyed the uniqueness of each of us and the openness of all of us.

Food served by Chef Jai was always healthy, creative, colourful and so delicious. I loved how we ate as a family. So many connections of the heart were made with the sisters in the group and the facilitators.

I recently attended the wonderful Soul Journey Retreat on Manitoulin Island facilitated by the Sisters of Light. Leah and Rose are both so warm and welcoming, their beautiful energies created a safe space for important work to be done.
I have participated in many women’s circles and a few retreats, but nothing has come close to the depth of the experience during this amazing week. The synergy of the women who gathered and the gifts of all the wonderful facilitators allowed for incredibly powerful magic to happen and I am very thankful to have been a part of it all.
I also really enjoyed the opportunity for quiet meditation and reflection time in the peaceful and beautiful environment of “Spirit Island”. I look forward to participating in more events with you in the future and would highly recommend this retreat to anyone who is interested.
