Behind the name is a woman whose path has been shaped by experience, discovery, healing, and a lifelong desire to
understand what lies beyond the ordinary.
Mother Owl is the spiritual name of Leah, a Shamanic Practitioner, Medicine Woman, Reiki Master Teacher, Hypnotherapist, author, and intuitive energy practitioner whose work has evolved through years of learning, personal transformation, and direct experience.
Her path has not followed a linear line. It has unfolded through both the ordinary and extraordinary moments of life, the challenges that changed her, the teachers who appeared along the way, the ancient practices she was drawn to, and the deeper questions that continued to call her inward.
Trained through Indigenous and shamanic teachings, including work connected with the traditions of the Peruvian Andes, Mother Owl brings together energy healing, shamanic practice, is a Reiki Master, hypnotherapy, meditation, intuitive guidance, and her own evolving spiritual work. Yet she believes that no single teaching or modality holds all the answers.
At the heart of her work is something much simpler:
Helping people discover more of themselves.
Mother Owl does not believe the spiritual path is about becoming someone else. It is about uncovering what is already within you, your own wisdom, intuition, strength, connection, and unique way of walking through this life.
This same philosophy became the heart of her book, “ From Mundane to Mystic,” where personal experiences, teachings, and reflections come together around one enduring question:
Who am I?
Today, Mother Owl continues to explore that question within her own life while creating spaces for others to explore it within theirs.
Because discovery is not about having every answer.

If you’d like to discover more of the experiences, teachings, and unexpected moments that shaped Mother Owl, From Mundane to Mystic takes you deeper into the story.
Part personal experience, part reflection, and part invitation to look within, the book explores the moments that changed my understanding of life and the question that has followed me through it all: Who am I? Why do things happen like they do?
Perhaps somewhere within these pages, you’ll be inspired to ask that question for yourself.
